Dear Reader,
As the school year comes to an end, so does my high school career, and while I want to say I can’t wait to get out of here, there are a lot of great memories to look back on. The past four years in the HyBreeze have taught me to be more outgoing and more creative, and allowed me to have fun in finding my voice. I’ve loved being able to share this period of my life with others and getting to create connections throughout the school.
I’ve made more friends in my last year of high school than ever before and I’m so grateful for these amazing connections. For other students looking for advice or pieces of wisdom, say yes to everything, I truly mean it. I would not be the person I am today without the experiences and connections I’ve created for myself, and I hope everyone has that opportunity. As much as it is a cliche, it is important to step out of your comfort zone as much as possible, try new things and meet new people.
Please remember that while school and academics are important, don’t let them run your life. These four years will set you up for your future and can even give you relationships you will have for the rest of your life. Do your best and work hard, but don’t forget to have fun and live a little. The stress isn’t worth it.
Good luck and you got this!
