Senior Hailey Mack’s Echos of Sisterhood, was recently entered into the 2026 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards where it won an honorable mention!

According to the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards recognition letter the artwork was “reviewed and recognized by a panel of creative professionals, and awarded for its outstanding merit in originality, skill, and the emergence of a personal voice and
vision.”

Alexis Soeder, Editor in Chief

Alexis Soeder is a Senior in her fourth year writing for “The Hybreeze,” and is editor of the Creative Corner. “The HyBreeze” has been a huge part of the past four years for her, and she couldn’t imagine spending her morning any other way. In addition to “The Hybreeze,” Alexis is involved in softball, NHS, NAHS, and SAFE Club. She has always loved writing and even wrote in the newspaper at BBHMS for two years. Outside of school, her passions continue in her free time. She spends a lot of time reading and playing guitar. After school Alexis would like to pursue a career in public relations.
