Join the Bees at their very own “Boogie Wonderland” on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at this year’s semi-formal Spring Fling in the aux gym from 7-10 p.m.!

Tickets will be on sale beginning Feb. 26, and will only be available via. Hometown Ticketing. For those bringing outside friends, guest affidavits are available Feb. 23, and should be returned by no later than March 6.

HUDDLE has been in charge of similar dances for years, and yet this time around, prevention coordinator and dance supervisor, Kelly Lazar has called for a rebranding.

“We’re doing our best to rebrand from previous years with improved decorations, better music, and a more welcoming vibe to make people want to stay,” claims senior and HUDDLE officer, Benjamin Brobst.

“The main two things that we’re focusing on are the dance’s atmosphere, and the dance’s main activities,” continues Brobst. “The atmosphere of the dance, the first impression, sets the stage for how much people feel they can enjoy the event itself.”

With atmosphere in mind Lazar, Brobst, and junior Abby Martello have worked with others in HUDDLE to make changes for the better. These include the favored DJ from last year’s prom, a photo booth including props, concessions, lounging space, and more.

“When planning the dance, we are trying to keep in mind the opinions of the whole school,” says Martello.

Not only should students expect a good time, but they can also feel happy about where their money is going. Martello says, “A large majority of proceeds from ticket sales and concessions will be benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!”

“With [the photo booth,] improved music and decorations, we hope to have a better overall atmosphere with more to do than Homecoming and other dances,” says Brobst.

HUDDLE members encourage students to fling themselves at this opportunity and get tickets early.
