Summer is right around the corner and while most are getting ready to go on vacation, many BBH students and staff are are going to be home for the summer. Here are some events and places to go to to make summer a little more exciting!
First on the list is Solstice Steps, located at 14532 Lake Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107. These concrete the steps rise 36 feet in elevation in a series of five tiers, each with four steps offering a beautiful view of Lake Erie. It is open from 6AM-11PM and is perfect for a relaxing get together with friends and family.
The Cleveland Asian Festival is a two day event taking place May 17-18. It celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with cultural performances, 35 food vendors and trucks. It is located at 2999 Payne Ave #206, Cleveland, OH 44114 from 11AM-7PM. Go enjoy amazing food and performances with family and friends, while also supporting community businesses and programs!
The Air Show in Cleveland is taking place August 30-September 1. It is located at Burke Lakefront Airport and features the U.S Air Force Thunderbird and U.S Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet. The flying takes place at 9:30 AM-4:30 PM and it is truly an amazing sight to see!
“The Feast” comes to Cleveland’s historic Little Italy neighborhood August 14-17 and turns it into a five-block extravaganza. It offers wonderful Italian food, live music, carnival rides, and church activities. It is one of the biggest events in Cleveland and definitely not one to miss.
The Water Festival is located at Coe Lake Park in Berea, OH 44017 and takes place on August 23 from 5:30-9:30. It offers a very interesting experience, it can be very emotional, writing down some of your hopes and dreams, or a letter to a loved one, and then sending it out into the water. Try something new and enjoy the beauty of thousands of lanterns and the lights reflecting upon the water.
