Dear Reader,
As I’m here for the last couple of times, I’m overcome with a feeling of accomplishment. After 4 long years and some tough moments, I am finally in the last stretch of my high school experience. I have learned so much throughout the years through people and school, but I am ready for college and the new experiences it will bring me. Accepting growth is a great skill.
Advice I would give to incoming freshmen and kids already here is to be friends with everyone. Being inclusive is not only great for you, but can make someone’s high school experience just that much better. Also, Work hard, even when you don’t feel like it. Pushing yourself and failing sometimes is the only way to learn and get better. Don’t be afraid to make some mistakes.
Lastly, Journalism has been such a fun experience over these past 2 years. I improved my writing and communication skills so much thanks to everyone around me. Be Fearless!
