Dear Reader,
These past four years have been a whirlwind of emotions, and now that I’ve reached the end, I feel relief. From searching for all my classes on the first day of freshman year to only having 4 classes my senior year, I’ve gained so much knowledge in many aspects of life. I want to thank Ms. Ignatz-hoover and Mrs. Milanich for guiding me through these four years of journalism and helping me improve my writing skills every day. I also want to thank my family for pushing me to be the greatest I can be and supporting my decision of joining the military. I’ve had a sense of patriotic duty instilled in me since I was a child and always dreamed of helping people. Coming from a long line of public servants, I am proud to be the next generation to serve my country.
To the class of 2026 and beyond, take advantage of these years and all the opportunities they bring. While some days may seem really difficult, others will go by in the blink of an eye. Join those clubs, take those classes and get involved in sports. This school has so many things to offer for anyone and everyone that you’ll be able to find your place in no time.
Good luck and have fun!
