It’s finally here! String break has come and gone and Easter is right around the corner. Get outside and enjoy the breaking weather or stay in with friends if mother nature doesn’t want to cooperate. It is Cleveland weather after all! People have to take the good with the bad.
Going Out In Nature
With the flowers blooming, spring is a great time to explore nature. Visit a local trail, botanical garden, or nature reserve to admire the colorful landscapes. Another way to enjoy nature and the wonderful weather is by going on a picnic. Grab a blanket, pack some snacks, and head to the Metro Parks for an enjoyable picnic with friends or family. Bring a book, play outdoor games, or relax and enjoy the scenery.
Indoor Activities

Spring break is for relaxing and recharging, and what better way to do that than sitting outside and reading a good book? Spring break is the best time to unwind and enjoy some much-needed peace. There are so many ways to spend time at home. Get creative and find a new hobby, have an at-home spa day, watch comfy movies or shows, or even whip up something fun in the kitchen, whether it’s a batch of cookies or a new recipe.
Traveling
Traveling can be an exciting way to spend your break if the opportunity presents itself, whether it’s a road trip with friends or even going out of town. Exploring a new place can be fun and exciting. Senior Gabby Caputo says, “I plan on going to Mexico with my family and grandparents. We are going to the Hilton resort, the beach, a sunset cruise, and we have a bunch more excursions.” Going out and exploring can always be a great experience.
Spending Time With Family And Friends
Spending quality time with family and friends during spring break is an excellent way to unwind and create lasting memories. Cozy board game nights or delightful dinners out, there are countless enjoyable activities to share with loved ones. Senior Alexis Zelinsky says, “My family always gets together for dinner. We stay for hours just playing board games, laughing and having such a good time.” Spring break is the perfect opportunity to relax, reconnect, and make the most of time with the people who matter most.
Easter Activities
With spring break comes Easter, bringing plenty of fun and creative ways to celebrate the season. From colorful crafts to delicious treats. Grab some paint and turn eggs into teeny-tiny masterpieces. Bake some bunny cookies or a carrot cake because if rabbits eat it, it’s healthy, right? Make hunting for easter bunny eggs special with a DIY Easter basket. Easter’s all about enjoyment, food, and finding out about that one egg!
