New Local Boutique, Apricot Lane

There is a new local delicacy and kids all over Brecksville and Broadview Heights love it! The new fashion boutique, Apricot Lane, is located on Brecksville Road in the center of Brecksville, next to Blue Habanero.

The boutique is owned by Sherry Mazzola and her two daughters, Loren and Emma. Her daughters helped to inspire the boutique as a place where both mothers and daughters could shop together. “As my daughters grew older I would get frustrated when we went shopping. They would go one way and I would go another. I wanted a place where mothers and daughters could shop together!”, says Mazzola.

Sherry believes that the key to feeling confident is wearing an outfit that you love. “To me, a great outfit can change your attitude,”

The boutique is unique and not like other clothing stores. They have a variety of beautifully curated collections of quality apparel for all ages. They buy their clothing in limited quantities, so every piece of clothing is unique! Sherry emphasizes that when you leave their store, they want you to feel good about your visit. They want to build relationships and not just complete transactions.

The shop has a wide variety of clothing and apparel for all seasons. Sweaters, shirts, pants, dresses, jewelry, and many other accessories are found throughout the shop. The owner of Apricot Lane believes that the boutique is a perfect place for students to shop. She explains, “We have great styles for their age group whether it be Homecoming, Holidays, Vacation, Graduation, as well as fun pieces for every day!”

Avalon, a 13-year-old BBHMS student says, “It has something for everyone, there are a variety of unique items, clothing, and accessories that are “trendy”. I love to go there.”

The best feeling when shopping for clothes is when you find the perfect outfit. “The biggest thrill is when someone comes out of the dressing room looking amazing…and they know it!!” says Sherry. The experience there is ultra-friendly, with no pressure. The environment is warm and colorful and there are so many options, yet it isn’t too overwhelming.

Sherry M., a customer of Apricot Lane says, “I knew what I wanted as soon as I saw it, the clothes there are so unique and I knew it was perfect for me.”

Apricot Lane is not only a place where you just shop for clothes, but they also have private events we call “Fashion Parties”. Mazzola says, “It’s like having a bunch of friends over to try on your clothes and see what you like best, except it’s at our store with all of our clothes.”

If you want to find cute and unique clothing for homecoming, the new school year, or even just a new fall wardrobe, bring your friends and head on down to the center of Brecksville. When you go to Apricot Lane Boutique you will feel welcomed and find something perfect for you!
