Shashini Mohan is a junior at BBHHS, and this is her first year contributing to The HyBreeze. She is actively involved in a range of extracurriculars, including Speech and Debate, Mock Trial, the Cleveland Youth Forum Council, and serves as the Communications Director for VOT Ohio. Through these roles, she has gained firsthand insight into the challenges women face in leadership positions: balancing expectations, breaking stereotypes, and pushing boundaries to make their voices heard. In her series: Breaking the Silence, Shashini interviews women leaders to explore their struggles, resilience, and advice for future generations. Her work aims to spotlight their stories and inspire others to recognize the importance of supporting women in positions of power.
